Last Tuesday Steve disappeared upstairs to his bedroom for most of the day. I was vaguely curious, but as with most questions I have about Steve, I find it best not to seek answers.
Anyway, all was revealed when he came down for dinner later that evening. Steve has written a novel. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting it. Tuesdays are usually quite quiet for Steve.
I’ve not had time to read my signed (he insisted) copy yet, but here's what the critics (people from down the pub) are apparently saying:
Do we think he paid them?
The novel also features an array of ‘vivid’ illustrations. Admittedly, I'm not entirely sure what each image is meant to depict, but they do catch the eye. Also of note is the sheer amount of glitter that has been used. It’s clear he has tried his best, as you’d expect.
So, apart from that last review (which was probably Brad) I’m led to believe Steve’s ‘novel’ must have some merit. Time to get the kettle on and give it a go, I guess….
Wish me luck….
Steve... our literary "Otter Wilde"
The big question is, who will play Steve in the film adaptation?
